Environment
Whilst
balloons fit aesthetically into the environment, they have an
undeniably wasteful history of carbon emissions.
That historical position need not be
so today, with new, clean, efficient, technology and a caring heart.
The
Aerial Display Company is the first corporate balloon operator to adopt a
Proactive Carbon Reduction Policy. In a fundamental initiative which has grown
from our community work in schools, we've been subject to an ongoing
professional assessment of our carbon footprint since 2004.
We
have reduced the size of our vehicles, the size of our new balloons,
replaced older equipment with new, more efficient derivatives and
adopted accentuated offset projects.
The savings are being passed on to the client.



High
impact balloon advertising should not be wasteful of our environment or the
clients’ wallet. It should be a positive, beneficial relationship
- and make economic sense.
Our
Environmental and Sustainability investments have brought major cost
savings to the client - and a better working
environment to our team. We aren’t perfect, but are trying our
best to go beyond 'carbon neutral' and provide a positive return to the environment in return for
the use we make of it.
We
hope other balloon operations will follow our lead.
